fresh celery and spring onions picked straight from my garden)

I got hooked on cooking ramen the past few days. Who wouldn't be if you have ten packs of this fresh Japanese Ramen from Colon, Cebu City?

Ingredients:

250 gm pack of Japanese Ramen
your choice of meat/seafoods and other what have yous
garlic, onion, red bell pepper
sayote, carrots, sweet green peas (or any vegetables you like/available)
celery and spring onions
canola oil, soy sauce, salt, ground pepper
Instructions:

  • Place the ramen/noodles in a bowl with hot water for a minute or two. Drain. Set aside.
  • In a wok, heat canola oil, then saute the garlic, onion and red bell pepper.
  • Put the meat/seafood and cook it thoroughly in a little amount of water.
  • Add in the sayote, carrots and sweet green peas. Cover the wok for 2 minutes.
  • Season with a little soy sauce, salt and ground pepper.
  • Add the drained noodles and toss gently. Heat through.
  • Lastly, add in the celery and spring onions and again, toss lightly.
It's done and is now ready for serving.
